According to company policy the manager should immediately say in front of the group that racial slurs are not allowed in any setting and would then inform the employee that his comments will be reported to human resources.
According to company policy the manager should tell the employee in front of the group that he or she should set up a private meeting with the manager to discuss the inappropriateness of his comments.
